Chi/Lat Student Parent Platica: Como Estudiantes y Papas

Friday, November 18, 4-6pm, CCLASS (Memorial Union 210 - access from exterior stairs outside the CoHo)

Chicanx/Latinx student parent families are invited to socialize and learn more about CCLASS (Center for Chicanx/Latinx Academic Student Success) and student-parent resources.

Spouses/partners and children of all ages are welcome. Children’s activities, snacks, and an opportunity to connect.

Student parent families with children of all ages are invited to trick or treat at designated campus departments around the Quad. A map of locations will be provided the week of the event. After trick or treating, come to the TRC in 1210 Dutton Hall for Halloween games, Hocus Pocus watch party, and more.

Last Thursday of the month, 5-7pm at the Transfer and Reentry Center (1210 Dutton Hall)

Family members: Todd (husband), Worthy (age 8, 3rd grade), and Ace (age 3)

About the kids: Worthy loves anything science and math related and likes to build things. He wants to be an architect, paleontologist and restaurant owner. Ace loves to eat pizza and loves football, he literally practices plays and prefers to watch games over cartoons.

Family members: Zhu Yi (age 4)

About the family: My son loves to read, build LEGOS, and like me, he really likes to watch movies! He's also a very active boy and loves to play, run, and jump.
